• Contributing policy advice and identifying significant geological sites throughout Auckland for the Auckland Council Unitary Plan.
• Aerial survey of nearly 30,000ha of Auckland’s Hunua and Waitakere Ranges for kauri dieback disease.
• Devising forest and wetland restoration plans for parks and private land.
• Reporting on the vegetation history and potential for restoring Pukaki Tapu o Poutukeka – one of Auckland’s best preserved volcanic craters, recently protected as a new historic reserve.
• Conducting vegetation surveys, assessing environmental effects and recommending ecological mitigation measures for a public tracks across public and private land.
• Ongoing provision of expertise to Auckland Council for landuse consents concerning geological heritage features.

Previous experience includes assessing and advising on consent applications for the Manukau Wastewater Treatment Plant, Omaha South coastal subdivision and Alpurt Northern Motorway extension.
