Director of Wild Earth Media, Alastair Jamieson, has 20 years professional experience, including more than a decade as staff ecologist at the former Auckland Regional Council.  During that time, he also provided ARC with expertise on geological heritage matters, such as resource consent applications concerning geological features.

He has previously worked as a self-employed environmental writer and photographer, a video researcher and camera operator and as a volunteer ecologist at Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park.

Alastair has an MSc in physical geography and a post-graduate diploma in natural history film-making and science communication.
